Are you interested in volunteering for the Birds of Prey Foundation? Learn about raptors and be part of a knowledgeable and fun team. Meet new people with the same interests as you. All while helping Colorado's birds of prey to soar on mended wings once again. The list of volunteer opportunities is endless, but include the following:

  • Cleaning outdoor flight cages
  • Cleaning indoor kennels at the Intensive Care Unit
  • Cage construction
  • Cleaning, feeding & spoiling our mice, rats, rabbits, & quail
  • Administrative work
  • Participate in educational programs
  • Rescue and transport injured birds to our facility
  • Special events
  • Property maintenance
  • Work in our beautiful thrift store

Some opportunities do require more commitment and special training before being allowed to participate.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and be able to commit to 6 months and a minimum of once a week for 4 hours each week. All volunteers must complete a volunteer orientation before starting their volunteer work.
